Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a part-time nurse in the Pulmonology Cystic Fibrosis program in Phoenix. You will provide high-quality nursing care, advocating for patients and families within evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines.

The role requires an ADN/BSN or RN-to-BSN path, an active Arizona RN license or compact state privileges, and BLS; PALS/PEARS may be required within 90 days for some departments. This is a day-shift, Monday–Friday position.

Qualifications

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program.
• Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
• PALS or PEARS certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive nursing assessment across age and condition.
• Implement plans of care, provide health education and coordinate care transitions.
• Evaluate patient response and modify diagnoses and plans accordingly.
• Ensure safety, infection control and compliant documentation.
