Job summary

UTMB Health in Galveston, TX seeks a Pediatric Pulmonology Clinician Educator at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to provide clinical care and contribute to education of residents and medical students across UTMB's Galveston Island and Clear Lake campuses.

Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and mentoring trainees; board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology is preferred, Texas license ability,

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency Program and Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and medical education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric pulmonary care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the division’s clinical and educational missions.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
