Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support the Pulmonary Outpatient Clinic in Fairfax, VA. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, with clinical hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA/RMA) or EMT-B/I.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Experience with medical terminology; proficiency with MS Office cited.
• TB test, drug screen and physical exam pass required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs general patient care: check schedules, record BP, height and weight, assist in exam rooms.
• Assist patients with walking, collecting specimens, phlebotomy, and relaying instructions.
• Fulfills clerical tasks: exchanging records, obtaining lab/x-ray reports, completing forms.
• Organizes medical records to ensure information is accessible during encounters.
• Instructs patients on basic testing requirements and environmental setup.
