Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Exercise Physiology with 1 year of experience; or a related master’s degree (preferred).
• ACSM-CEP certification within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS and ACLS or PALS certification required for clinical stress testing and rehab.
• Must obtain required certification within 12 months of employment.
• Level II requires 2+ years; Level III requires 3+ years as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform health risk assessments and functional capacity testing.
• Develop, implement, and modify exercise prescriptions for diverse patient groups.
• Monitor patient responses with telemetry and vital signs.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and sterile processing.
• Educate patients and families on exercise benefits and disease management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated care.
