Job summary

CHONC in Campbell, CA is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to support children from birth to 20 years with complex medical needs in a subacute setting. You will follow treatment plans, assist with mobility, and collaborate with families and the care team to promote holistic care.

The role offers about 24 hours per week with potential for extension. A CA PTA license, CPR/BLS, and pediatric experience are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Valid California PTA License (or eligibility).
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience in pediatric or subacute care preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow treatment plans under supervision to improve mobility and function.
• Support pediatric patients with complex medical needs including ventilator/feeding support as needed.
• Collaborate with family and interdisciplinary team and document progress.
• Assist with care planning, discharge readiness, and caregiver education.
• Supervise aides and participate in monthly in-service training.
