Job summary

Children's Health Specialty Centers for outpatient therapy seeks a Physical Therapist PRN Float to provide evaluations and treatments across multiple sites, including Allen, Plano, Richardson, Grapevine, Waxahachie, Dallas, and Rockwall.

You will float to three or more sites, work 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, and participate in orientation and training, gaining diverse pediatric therapy exposure while supporting families and children.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of pediatric outpatient experience required.
• Licensed to practice physical therapy in Texas.
• Flexibility to float to multiple outpatient sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations with goals and discharge planning; document progress and educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians and the care team.
• Coordinate and prioritize own schedule; supervise rehabilitation aides; mentor PT interns and students as indicated.
• Demonstrate proper use and maintenance of equipment; participate in meetings, rounds and continuing education for professional competency.
• Meet physical and non-physical demands as outlined in the job description.
• Assume other duties appropriate to the position and area.
