Boston Children's Hospital in Weymouth is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist for a part-time position (20 hours per week). The role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Massachusetts PT license and at least 3 years of licensed PT experience, with pelvic health experience a plus.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's in physical therapy; Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of licensed PT experience.
• Massachusetts PT licensure required.
• Part-time role eligible for benefits; sign-on bonus.
• Schedule: open M–F; 20 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic evaluations per guidelines and standards.
• Verify referral appropriateness and contact provider as needed.
• Assess patients using tests and measures across multiple functions.
• Develop and implement individualized PT treatment programs.
• Establish treatment goals and administer PT procedures.
• Prepare discharge plans and home programs; educate patients and families.
• Monitor outcomes and modify treatments; communicate with physicians.
• Recommend orthotics and assistive devices as needed.
• Supervise PT aides or rehab staff as applicable.
• Document assessments and treatments in medical records.
