Job summary

The Home Of The Innocents in Louisville, KY, seeks a Physical Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for medically complex children at the Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center.

You will assess mobility, develop care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to promote maximal function, safety, and quality of life. Requires a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, Kentucky PT license, CPR/BLS, and a flexible 30-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or 10 years of PT experience.
• Active Kentucky PT license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess mobility, develop and implement individualized care plans for medically complex residents.
• Supervise PTAs and collaborate with OT, Speech, Nursing and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document progress, care plans, and discharge summaries in the EMR; communicate with guardians.
