Job summary

Medstaff Group is seeking a NYS-licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for Early Intervention services in Brooklyn, covering Boro Park, Kensington, and Flatbush. This contract role offers flexible caseloads and the chance to impact children’s daily environments.

Responsibilities include 1:1 PT evaluations, home-based visits, and coordination with the child’s care team, with a focus on birth-to-five goals. Competitive compensation and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Physical Therapist license.
• Experience with children under five; general pediatric experience alone is not sufficient.
• Willingness to provide home-based visits, not school or daycare cases only.
• One year or more of experience with young children preferred; mentorship possible for newcomers.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 physical therapy evaluations and treatment sessions.
• Deliver services in the child’s home, daycare, or another natural environment.
• Develop and follow individualized treatment plans aligned with Early Intervention goals.
• Document each session and coordinate with the child’s care team.
