Job summary

Stargait Management Group Inc in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our pediatric therapy team. You will implement customized PT plans for children under supervision of a licensed PT.

We offer a supportive, child-centered clinic with a signing bonus, health insurance, 401(k), and a flexible schedule. Prior pediatric experience is helpful; WA PTA licensure or ability to obtain is required.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in pediatric physical therapy.
• Active PTA licensure in Washington or ability to obtain before start.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized PT treatment plans for pediatric patients under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Provide hands-on interventions including gait training, neuromuscular re-education, and motor skill development.
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and communicating changes to the supervising PT.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate therapeutic activities to promote participation and motivation.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators.
• Maintain a safe, organized, child-friendly therapy environment.
