An established industry player is seeking a full-time Clinician-Educator to join a multidisciplinary team at a nationally-ranked children's hospital. This role focuses on conducting psychological evaluations and treatments for children and adolescents, providing clinical supervision, and engaging in research. Ideal candidates will have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology and fellowship-level training in pediatric psychology. The Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago are seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. This clinical child and adolescent psychologist will join a multidisciplinary Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in a nationally-ranked, freestanding children's hospital located on the medical school campus. Duties are primarily to:
Qualified candidates will have obtained a PhD or PsyD in a clinical psychology training program and completed an APA-approved internship specializing in clinical child or pediatric psychology. At least one of training programs must have been APA-approved. It is preferred that this individual have fellowship-level training in pediatric psychology which includes the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with complex congenital heart disease.
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Full-time position. Start date immediate after licensure in Illinois. Applications will be evaluated as received. The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
