Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Psychologist to join the Integrated Behavioral Health team within Dayton Children's Pediatrics. The role involves same-day consultation, brief assessments, and evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents in a fully integrated primary care setting.

The psychologist will collaborate with pediatricians and multidisciplinary teams, participate in well-child visits, and help identify behavioral health needs early while connecting

Qualifications

• Must have Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in pediatric psychology, primary care, or integrated behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong commitment to collaborative, team-based care and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day consultation and brief assessment.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents.
• Participate in integrated well-child visits and identify behavioral health needs early.
• Promote prevention and connect families with resources.
• Engage in program development, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Contribute to clinical education and training within IBH.

Education
