Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit or equivalent.
• Licensed in Ohio (L.S.W., MSW, or Professional Counselor).

Responsabilités

• Complete initial assessment and discharge plan within 24–48 hours.
• Collaborate with patient, family and staff for discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on placement options and resources.
• Assess suicide/homicide risk and implement safety procedures.
• Maintain timely documentation and communication with care teams.
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed.
• Stay current with social work standards and lead staff training.
