Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for Pediatric Surgical, Trauma, Acute, Medicine and Safer Units. You will apply nursing processes to plan and implement care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The PSTAM/12C Safer Units support pediatric patients from infancy to young adulthood with a range of surgical and medical needs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 1 year of relevant pediatric or acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care across PSTAM and 12C units.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
• Continuously uses the nursing process to evaluate patient progress and adjust care.
• Promotes health and a safe environment for patients and families.
