Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and HMFP at BIDMC, in collaboration with DFCI, seek a full-time Pediatric Radiation Oncology faculty member to lead our pediatric RO program and proton therapy initiatives.

The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team, contribute to clinical care, research, and teaching, and help shape a state-of-the-art proton program including upright CT simulator. HMS appointment at an appropriate rank will be considered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiation oncologist with completed ACGME residency and US fellowship.
• Proven pediatric radiation oncology care and research experience.
• Expertise in proton therapy for pediatric patients.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills for a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in leadership and program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and academic leadership of the pediatric RO program.
• Advance multidisciplinary care, research, and program development.
• Help design and implement the proton therapy program with upright CT simulator.
• Contribute to teaching and HMS activities.
• Collaborate within the DFCI/HMFP/HMS collaboration.
