Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Texas RN license, current BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with pediatric/home health exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience preferred, but not required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Willingness to learn portable defibrillator management.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care during school hours.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Monitor respiratory status and changes in condition.
• Monitor and manage the portable defibrillator.
• Follow activity restrictions and safety measures.
• Communicate with the family, school, and care team.
• Complete required clinical documentation.
