Job summary

First Day Homecare - Savannah, GA is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for pediatric homecare. You will provide clinical nursing services under physician orders, document changes, and monitor client plans.

Responsibilities include medication administration, client teaching, and coordination with the care team to ensure safe, compliant care in the home setting. Requires active GA RN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice as an RN in the state of operation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Provides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
• Maintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record.
• The scope includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and pediatric services such as tracheostomy and ventilator care.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs duties in compliance with agency policies and standards.
• Participates in care coordination and agency meetings.
