Job summary

First Day Homecare, LLC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide pediatric private duty nursing across home settings, under physician orders and agency protocols.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring client status, documenting in medical records, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care for school-aged and teenage clients with specialized needs overnight and daytime hours.

Qualifications

• RN license active in state of operation
• Current CPR certification
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Licensed driver with automobile insured as required

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act
• Administers care per physician orders and client care plan
• Maintains orders and documents changes in the medical record
• Performs pediatric nursing tasks including ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and tube feedings as needed
• Collaborates with the client care team to coordinate services
• Ensures patient safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers
• Adheres to agency policies, procedures, and accreditation standards
• Participates in care coordination meetings and other duties as assigned
