Job summary

First Day Homecare - Michigan is seeking qualified LPNs to provide pediatric private duty nursing in home settings across Michigan. You’ll perform nursing care under physician orders, document care plans, and collaborate with the client’s care team to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring, client teaching, and responding to emergencies while maintaining compliance with laws and agency policies. Flexible schedules and paid time off are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current LPN license to practice in the state of operation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured as required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Follows physician orders and client care plans; documents changes.
• Performs personal care, monitoring, medication administration, and client teaching.
• Handles emergency intervention and pediatric-specific tasks such as ventilator management and tracheostomy care.
• Works with the client’s care team and ensures a safe environment.
