Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing services to pediatric and adult clients in home settings across Michigan. You will work under physician orders, follow each client’s care plan, and document all changes in the medical record.

This role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality care in a family-centered environment. The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license in Michigan, CPR certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of operation.
• CPR certification current and active.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Follow orders from medical practitioners and the client's care plan.
• Document changes and updates in the medical record as per agency procedures.
• Deliver pediatric and adult nursing services including specialized care as needed.
• Collaborate with the client’s care team.
• Promote safety and a healthy environment for clients and coworkers.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in care coordination and attend agency meetings.
• Perform additional duties as required.
