First Day Homecare is seeking a licensed practical nurse to perform skilled nursing functions under medical orders, providing high-quality pediatric private duty nursing in home settings across locations. You will work within the Nurse Practice Act and agency guidelines to deliver patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with the client’s care team, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance in line with agency standards.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current LPN license in the state of operation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.

Mansioni

• Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Provides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
• Maintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.
• Scope includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.
• Works collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
• Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payer and accreditation standards.
• Participates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
