Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and at least 1 year of RN work experience.
• SC Board of Nursing licensure or compact state required.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Ability to provide age/developmentally appropriate nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and participates in professional practice model and governance.
• Coordinates care delivery and identifies priorities to improve patient outcomes.
• Engages in shared governance and ongoing professional development to promote clinical excellence.
