Job summary

The Nemours Foundation in Elkton, MD seeks a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for 32 hours a week to join our pediatric family-centered team. The RN provides clinical nursing care to primary care patients, coordinates with providers, and supports the office with procedures and triage.

Candidates must have an RN license (DE eligible), pediatric office experience, BLS, and willingness to obtain a BSN within 3 years. BSN preferred. Phone triage experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN required with pediatric office experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Phone triage experience preferred.
• RN license must be active or eligible for DE license.
• BSN is preferred; BSN within 3 years of hire must be pursued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor and document patient status with care team; support clinical procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure safety.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for testing.
• Provide age-appropriate care and coordinating with providers.
