Job summary

DE RN license is required; pediatric office experience and BLS are required; BSN is preferred and must be obtained within 3 years of hire.

Qualifications

• RN with licensure in Delaware required.
• BSN preferred; agreement to obtain BSN within 3 years of hire.
• Pediatric office nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pediatric primary care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Synthesize patient data and recognize complex situations before team communication.
• Document ongoing evaluation and effectiveness of patient care.
• Provide care that meets professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Safely administer medications as prescribed by the provider.
• Assist provider with in-office procedures within nursing scope.
• Perform phlebotomy for blood specimens and basic lab tests.
• Provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients in primary care.
