Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Pediatric Primary Care Physician to join NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in Brooklyn, NY. The role focuses on ambulatory pediatric care within a major New York hospital system.

Board eligible or board certified in pediatrics and NY license eligibility are required. The position offers a competitive base salary with extensive benefits and potential for additional compensation through CME, retirement contributions, and loan forgiveness.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Services and assigned areas.

• Serve as a consultant for patients referred by other physicians in the community and health centers and coordinate care with specialists as needed.
• Supervise residents, nurse practitioners, and physicians assigned to work with them.

Opportunity Details

• Care forpatients in the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Services and assigned areas.


• Responsible for referring the patient to the specialty and subspeciality clinics as indicated and coordinate the care provided by the specialists.


• Serve as a consultant for patients referred by other physicians in community and health centers and will coordinate the care of specialists, as needed.


• Supervise the work of the Residents, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians assigned to work with them.


• Responsible for the quality of care.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $236,000* (board eligible); $241,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $315,120** (board eligible) and $320,620** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
