Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in nursing from an approved program.
• Virginia RN license or eligibility/compact state license.
• Within two years of start date, enroll in RN to BSN program and complete within five years.
• Current AHA BLS HCP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow documented physician/licensed independent provider orders.
• Provide age-appropriate direct nursing care and document it accurately.
• Assess changes in patient conditions and intervene appropriately.
• Coordinate with the care team and supervise on-unit staff as assigned.

Education
