Job summary

Easterseals Bluegrass is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in a licensed PPEC environment for medically fragile children. You will conduct assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support development and safety.

Ideal candidates have pediatric nursing experience, current Kentucky RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and a commitment to family-centered care in a structured daycare-style setting.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Kentucky.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1–2 years pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required; PALS preferred or required per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to medically fragile and chronically ill children in a licensed daycare-style PPEC setting.
• Perform ongoing clinical assessments and monitor participants’ health status throughout the day.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care.
• Manage and monitor medical equipment such as feeding tubes, suctioning devices, oxygen, ventilators, and monitors as required.
• Respond promptly to changes in condition, medical emergencies, and acute health needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
