Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Night shift Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to perform polysomnographic testing for pediatric patients from newborn to 21 years old.

Requires 1 year of RRT/CRT experience, NBRC certification, and Georgia RCP license, plus BLS within 30 days of hire. Night shift with regular sub-type and on-site work duties. Strong teamwork and patient-care focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an RRT or CRT.
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active NBRC RRT or CRT certification and Georgia RCP license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic polysomnographic testing and scoring for patients from newborn to 21 years old.
• Monitors and addresses patient and family understanding and compliance with treatment and testing.
• Identifies and corrects issues with testing technical quality.
• May assist with orientation of new staff and participate in quality initiatives.
