Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Malvern, PA, is seeking a casual Polysomnography Tech to join our sleep medicine team. The technologist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, performing polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, and patient education under supervision of the clinical director.

Responsibilities include equipment prep, electrode application, data acquisition and scoring, and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a polysomnography program (CPSGT) or equivalent.
• Associated state license and must obtain RPSGT within 6 months of hire (if not already).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze patient information to tailor testing.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment for testing; apply electrodes and sensors.
• Perform polysomnographic data acquisition and ensure artifact-free signals.
• Score sleep stages and clinical events; generate reports.
• Ensure safety and provide patient education as part of care.
