Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a part-time Registered Polysomnography Technician to perform polysomnographic testing in the Sleep Center. This role requires the candidate to provide guidance to clinical students and must maintain necessary records. A graduate from an accredited polysomnography program with the appropriate certifications is required. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and relevant experience in sleep technology. This position offers a night shift schedule from Saturday to Sunday.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience preferred in sleep technology.
Must be registered in sleep technology by an accepted organization.
Experience working with various levels within an organization required.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis.
Provide guidance to a polysomnographic clinical student.
Maintain necessary records and documentation for each procedure.
Provide training and guidance to Pediatric Sleep staff.
