Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Level 2 (PRN) for the Sleep Lab at OU Children's Hospital. You will conduct sleep testing, titration studies, and related diagnostics, delivering high-quality patient care and education under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an RRT or RPSGT, BLS, and at least 1 year of polysomnography experience, with strong data reporting and device management skills to support the sleep disorders program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience as a polysomnographic technician.
• RRT or RPSGT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA required.
• If applying as an RRT, RCP license and SDS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and ensures delivery of safe, high-quality sleep lab services.
• Operates polysomnographic equipment and performs diagnostic and therapeutic interventions (including CPAP titration and MSLT).
• Documents physiological data and prepares detailed physician reports.
• Calibrates, maintains, and cleans sleep lab equipment.
• Provides patient/family education before and after procedures.
• Acts as a preceptor for students and new staff; oversees staff as needed.
