Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a Pediatric RN to join our 6-bed Pediatric/PICU unit on the night shift (7p-7a). The role delivers quality patient care using the nursing process under supervision of the Nursing Director or Supervisor and emphasizes patient age-specific development and cultural considerations.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• BCLS and Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license active in SC or compact state.
• ASN or BSN is required.
• Prior pediatric nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through the nursing process for pediatric patients.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and ensure family-centered care.
• Work night shift on the Pediatric/PICU unit (7p-7a) and support quality improvement efforts.
