Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Pediatric RN for the night shift on our 6-bed Pediatric/PICU unit. You will deliver quality patient care using the nursing process, while adhering to regulations and age-specific needs.

Under the direction of Nursing leadership, you will plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to support optimal pediatric outcomes and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• RN license must be active in SC or a compact state.
• ASN or BSN degree required.
• Prior pediatric nursing experience required.
• BCLS and Neonatal Resuscitation must be obtained within 30 days.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct nursing care for pediatric patients while complying with regulatory standards and age-specific needs.
• Collaborate with Nursing Director, supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Skills

RN license (SC or compact)

BCLS within 30 days

Neonatal Resuscitation within 30 days

PALS within 90 days
