Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). You will deliver respiratory therapy, work with physicians and nurses, and contribute to patient assessments and care plans.

The role requires RCP certification/licensure, active WA license, and pediatric/PICU experience. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits and relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education meeting requirements for Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure.
• Active Washington RCP license at start.
• NPCU/PICU pediatric respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop patient care plans.
• Provide respiratory therapy to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Assist with delivery and direction of respiratory therapy.
• Perform assessments and related respiratory procedures.
• Operate ventilatory support systems and related equipment.
• Provide oxygen therapy and support diagnostic procedures.
• Participate in orientation and unit-specific programs.
• Maintain safe, effective, patient-centered care.
