Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a full-time Pediatric Physician (MD/DO) to join our largest pediatric practice in Jacksonville, Florida. Qualifications

• Completion of residency in Pediatrics is required.
• Current medical license and DEA license in Florida needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate pediatric care.
• Work with newborns and treat patients Mon-Fri from 8am to 5pm.
• Participate in medical staff memberships and privileges as required.

Education, Licensure & Certification

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved post‑graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license in Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
