Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Jacksonville, FL seeks a full-time Pediatrician to join our networks across St. Augustine, Towncenter, Bartram Park, Orange Park and Lakewood. Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm with no weekend coverage; newborn rounding optional.

NHSC-approved site eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. Spanish speaking preferred; opportunity to gain experience within Florida’s largest pediatric private practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• ACGME/AOA pediatrics residency or equivalent.
• Current unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Current unrestricted DEA license in Florida.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years.
• BLS certification required; PALS for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care at multiple Jacksonville-area sites.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Educate families and ensure high-quality pediatric services.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatricswithin five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
