Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain medical histories.
• Order and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medical drug therapies and perform procedures.
• Create and carry out detailed patient treatment plans.
• Counsel patients regarding medical processes and health promotion.
