Job summary

UCP of Central Florida is seeking a Medical Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver direct therapy to in-clinic and outpatient pediatric clients.

Working under the TPOM at the campus, you will optimize each client’s abilities and ensure high-quality therapy programs within a compliant, multi-disciplinary team。 The role covers scheduling, progress notes, family training, and collaboration with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into daily activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license from the State of Florida
• 1-year experience preferred with pediatric population in a multi-disciplinary setting

Responsibilities

• Submit accurate and timely Super bills on a daily basis according to UCP guidelines.
• Provide and monitor client coverage and turn in and revise schedules on a weekly basis.
• Write accurate and complete daily progress notes at the end of each session following UCP guidelines.
• Provide Physical Therapy consultations to education staff and participate in multi-disciplinary planning.
• Provide parent consultations and instructions for home programs.
• Annually attend Continuing Education courses focused on clinical and operational compliance.
