The Oklahoma State Department of Health in Purcell seeks a part-time Physical Therapist I, II, or III – Temporary to support eligible children and their families in natural environments such as homes or childcare settings.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluations, interventions, and parent education, with supervision of interns as needed. Compensation ranges from $32.69 to $37.01 per hour, based on education and experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of principles, practices and ethics of professional physical therapy.
• Ability to evaluate skills and communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Mentor Physical Therapy interns during fieldwork experiences.

Responsabilités

• Provides early intervention services in natural environments (home/childcare).
• Develops and implements Individualized Family Service Plans per guidelines.
• Conducts assessments and makes recommendations for services.
• Supervises interns and collaborates within an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains confidential records and complies with regulations.
• Addresses needs with routine-based activities and adaptive devices.
• Monitors treatment effectiveness and adjusts plans as needed.
• Occasional in-office administrative duties and travel as required.
