Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Completion of NYS Physical Therapist license and registration.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services to assigned students in school-based settings.
• Develop and modify treatment plans to maximize student progress.
• Document progress and update therapy goals as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and medical staff regarding mobility and safety.
• Assist with orthotics, podiatry, and durable medical equipment planning.
• Train classroom staff on transfers and equipment use.
• Ensure compliance with NYSED and DOH standards.
