THERAPY 2000 in Mesquite/Balch Springs is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist/PTA to join a mission‑driven team delivering home-based pediatric therapy services. You will evaluate children, design and implement personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and healthcare providers to support growth and function in familiar home settings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist
• Experience in a home-health setting
• Specialty Certifications (example: PCS)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Collaborate and coordinate care between providers and disciplines within the patient’s medical neighborhood.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Maintain timely chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork.
• Coordinate with agency personnel to ensure understanding of expectations and standards for quality care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws in home-health pediatric therapy.

What you’ll do:

• -Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• -Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• -Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• -Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
