Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Edwardsville, IL, is seeking a PRN Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide care for developmental patients and cover PTO and staff transitions. Coverage is weekdays only and based at Children’s Edwardsville.

The role requires a PT license, a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, and preferably a Master’s degree. This position aligns with BJC HealthCare’s Total Rewards program and supports a dedicated pediatric care mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs and equipment.
• Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers; makes referrals as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students with appropriate skill levels.
• Completes documentation per departmental policies.
• Provides assessment, reassessment, and consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
