AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for PRN relief coverage. The role emphasizes pediatric rehabilitation, clinical instruction, and community outreach within a faith-based health system.

Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing and adjusting treatment plans, documenting care in EMR, ensuring patient and caregiver education, and supporting quality and safety standards.

Qualificações

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Experience with EMR and standard office software.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clinical knowledge and apply best practices.
• Ensure patient and caregiver safety in daily activities.
• Participate in community events and public awareness.
• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans with goals.
• Document patient care accurately and timely.
• Charge patients accurately and timely.
• Identify need for education and provide discharge recommendations.
• Discharge patients when benefit achieved.
• Support quality standards and performance improvement.
• Oversee PT assistants and rehab aides according to regulations.
• Manage productivity and adjust hours to patient needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
