Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time position in the Pediatrics: O/P Acute Therapy department at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. The role involves evaluating patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary needs and planning individualized care.

The successful candidate will hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, be licensed, and complete BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active PT license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification within 90 days.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret referrals and perform musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Establishes plan of care and implements treatment based on evaluation results and goals.
• Document patient care, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians and team members to optimize patient care and safety.
• Promote safety and infection control; assist with supervision of staff when requested.
