Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist by the State of Michigan or eligible within 3 months of hire.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• One year outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers physical therapy treatment programs to restore function and relieve pain.
• Records treatment, tests, and patient responses as required by policy.
• Reviews physician referrals and patient records to determine treatment needs.
• Performs tests, measurements, and evaluations and administers therapeutic exercises.
• Instructs and motivates patients in exercises and uses physical agents as prescribed.
• Administers manual therapy and traction to relieve neck and back pain.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
