Job description

About The Therapy Place

The Therapy Place is a pediatric therapy center and private school focused on helping children grow, learn, and succeed. We provide speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapy, along with specialized educational programs—all in one supportive setting.

Our team works closely together to give each child consistent, individualized care. We value collaboration, open communication, and building strong relationships with the families we serve. At The Therapy Place, you’re not working in isolation—you’re part of a team that shows up for each other and for the kids. You’ll have the support you need to do your job well, the ability to collaborate across disciplines, and the chance to see real progress in the children you work with.

About the Role

The Therapy Place is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to support the relaunch of our TheraSuit Intensive Therapy Program. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality physical therapy services within a structured 3‑week intensive model, working in collaboration with a TheraSuit‑trained occupational therapist to provide coordinated, outcomes‑driven care.

This is a part‑time, intensive‑based position with the opportunity to expand into a full‑time role based on clinic needs and therapist interest. Intensive sessions are scheduled in 3‑week blocks, with flexibility for therapists to treat one or two intensive clients per day during each session.

The TheraSuit certification is fully funded by The Therapy Place, including course cost, travel, lodging (if applicable), and meals. A training stipend is provided to support participation during certification. In exchange for sponsored training, therapists are expected to complete 10 intensive sessions within a 12‑month period.

Compensation includes a competitive, high hourly rate designed to reflect the specialized nature of intensive therapy and overall clinical responsibilities.

  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage the physical demands of pediatric therapy, including assisting with mobility and facilitating movement activities
