Job summary

UVA Continuum Home Health Care is seeking a licensed physical therapist to evaluate and treat newborns and pediatric patients in home settings. You will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based therapy within the patient\'s home and collaborate with UVA Health and community providers.

This role emphasizes professional growth, autonomy in practice, mileage reimbursement, self-scheduling options, onboarding training, and opportunities for career advancement through a clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience: 6 months relevant experience.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS; Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy evaluations for newborn and pediatric patients.
• Demonstrates knowledge of intervention options and executes a program of skilled physical therapy.
• Actively participates in professional growth of self and others.
• Actively participates in quality improvement and program development.
• Other duties may be assigned.
