Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist - Float to join our outpatient pediatric team. This role provides direct patient care to children and uses a range of therapy techniques to restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence.

Primary coverage includes Maple Grove, Saint Louis Park, and Burnsville. The schedule is 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE) with three 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday daytime hours, and occasional Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in physical therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct pediatric patient care.
• Apply physical therapy techniques to restore function and reduce pain.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This position is for an outpatient Float Physical Therapist in the Park Nicollet system. Primary coverage responsibilities are for Maple Grove, Saint Louis Park, and Burnsville

Provides direct patient care to pediatrics. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE)
• schedule built out 2-3 months in advance
• locations include: Maple Grove, Saint Louis Park, and Burnsville
• Generally scheduled for three 8-hour shifts per week
• Monday through Friday, daytime hours with the possibility of a Saturday shift
• Days and locations may vary to support staffing and patient care needs across pediatric rehabilitation sites

Required Qualifications

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Doctorate, master's, or bachelor's degree in physical therapy
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
  • Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
