Job summary

The J.D. McCarty Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our pediatric rehabilitation team in Norman, OK. The role involves evaluating and treating birth-21 patients with diverse conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and intensive therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Current physical therapy licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Experience with pediatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation and ongoing assessments of patients' condition and abilities.
• Designs treatment plans aligning with patient and family goals.
• Administers treatment programs and adjusts as needed.
• Documents PT services clearly and timely per guidelines.
• Provides patient and family education and home programs.
• Coordinates with other health care providers for post-discharge care.
• Supervises PT aides, assistants and interns as needed.
• Adheres to center policies and ethical standards.
