Job summary

Bloom is a pediatric physical therapy private practice in Pocatello, ID seeking a compassionate clinician to provide services to infants, children and adolescents in a private setting. The independent contractor will evaluate and treat pediatric patients with diverse developmental and neuromotor needs.

The role emphasizes evidence-based care, family-centered collaboration, and helping children achieve greater independence through targeted therapy and caregiver coaching.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Idaho license to practice physical therapy.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or other degree meeting Idaho licensure requirements.
• Experience treating infants, children, and adolescents preferred; pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric motor development, functional mobility, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong written documentation, communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Current CPR certification appropriate to the patient population, if required by the practice or applicable payer.
• Ability to meet payer credentialing, background screening, and enrollment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric physical therapy evaluations and reassessments within the scope of practice.
• Develop individualized plans of care and measurable functional treatment goals.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to address gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, posture, mobility, gait, endurance, and functional movement.
• Treat children with developmental delays, neuromotor disorders, orthopedic conditions, and other diagnoses appropriate for physical therapy.
• Educate caregivers regarding therapeutic strategies, home exercise programs, positioning, transfers, mobility, and safe participation in daily routines.
• Adapt interventions to meet each child's developmental level, sensory needs, abilities, and family priorities.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches based on clinical findings and response to intervention.
• Coordinate care with caregivers, physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other providers when appropriate and authorized.
